The current minimum wage in Pa. is $7.25 an hour.

Minimum wage increase: How it would work

The increase would occur in three steps:

By 2026: The minimum wage would increase to $9 an hour.

By 2027: The minimum wage would increase to $10 an hour.

By 2028: The minimum wage would increase to $11 an hour.

The commonwealth's neighboring states – New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Ohio – all offer a higher minimum wage.
