PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) -- A Pennsylvania Senator announced plans for a bill that would increase the minimum wage in the Commonwealth.
Currently, the minimum wage in Pennsylvania sits at $7.25, with it last being raised in July 2009. Sen. Daniel Laughlin (R-Erie) argued in his newest legislation that the stagnant rate in Pennsylvania fails to reflect the rising cost of living and leaves thousands of hardworking Pennsylvanians struggling to make ends meet.
