GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP — A man was critically injured Tuesday night after being struck by a car on South Pomona Road, police said.

Jhoanssel Castro was driving south when he hit Domingo Lopez-Lopez, who was walking in the middle of the road near Langley Avenue at 11:10 p.m., police said Wednesday in a Facebook post.

Lopez-Lopez, who was unconscious and unresponsive, was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City, police said.

The road was closed for two hours while police investigated.
