LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska’s historic volleyball program enters a new era in 2025. Dani Busboom Kelly leads the Huskers after eight highly-successful seasons at Louisville. Busboom Kelly replaces legendary head coach John Cook, who surprisingly retired in January. Busboom Kelly played for Cook and helped Nebraska win a national championship in 2006.

Ahead of preseason practice, DBK visited with 10/11 to share her expectations for the upcoming campaign. Nebraska is the preseason favorite in the Big Ten and should contend for an NCAA title. The Huskers’ loaded roster features five All-Conference selections and three players on the AVCA Preseason Player of the Year Watch List (Andi Jackson, Harper Murray, and Bergen Reilly).
