Some city cannabis businesses are preparing for the worst after learning their licenses to operate won’t be renewed because of a mistake in measuring how close they are to schools or religious institutions.

Over 150 businesses, either up-and-running or approved to open, are affected statewide — with now 89 in the city alone.
