BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office announced intentions to bring new deputies aboard as part of a greater effort to build the department.

Department leaders said they are searching for individuals who care about protecting others, engaging with the community, and maintaining their compassion in the role.

Community Outreach Officer with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office, Sgt. B.J. Adkins encouraged anyone with questions, whether they are ready to apply or just hoping to learn more, to come speak with him.
