BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) -- Raleigh County is now home to two certified D.A.R.E. instructors with Corporal Christine Schack joining the campaign.

D.A.R.E. stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.

Many of us remember the D.A.R.E. assemblies from our own time in school but Corporal Schack says the program has changed so much over the years that this generation of kids might as well be getting an entirely new program.

Corporal Schack completed her training for the program in North Carolina and said she is excited to get into the schools and make connections with the kids.

"There's an elementary school which is derived toward fifth grade, a middle school that's derived towards seventh grade, and then there's a high school curriculum as well, and then we have some, what we call, pop-in activit
