AUSTELL, Ga. — After 10 years, Six Flags has decided to discontinue its Holiday in the Park.
The theme park didn't provide a specific reason for discontinuing the wintertime event, but it stated that reviewing several business models led to the decision.
It’s unclear whether the cancellation is permanent, as the park said Holiday in the Park is being discontinued this year.
Six Flags Over Georgia celebrated the event last year and into this year. It featured new events and more displays.
Holiday in the Park often featured live shows, tree lighting celebrations and other holiday fun. It also had an immersive North Pole experience for families.
