RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking to save money while back-to-school shopping? Virginia's three-day tax holiday is on Friday. Here is all you need to know to cash in on some savings.
Virginia's three-day tax holiday will begin at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, and will end at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3. During those three days, people can buy qualifying school supplies, clothing, hurricane and emergency preparedness items and more without paying sales tax.
