FORT MILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A former quality control technician has filed a lawsuit against Silfab Solar, Inc. and its South Carolina subsidiary, claiming he was fired for “blowing the whistle” on alleged safety violations at the company’s facility in Fort Mill.
Jason Rhodes, a Lancaster County resident, filed the suit in York County Court earlier this week. He alleges that Silfab allowed employees to work in a facility that did not have the proper occupancy permit and failed to follow safety protocols in assembling machinery.
