A Union Grove man was caught with what police describe as a significant quantity of a fentanyl-methamphetamine mixture, unlawfully possessed prescription medications, and a meth pipe during a vehicle stop in Priceville.

According to the Priceville Police Department, 46-year-old Joshua Heath Stewart is charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, illegal possession of prescription medications, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

About 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, police initiated a vehicle stop due to a moving violation in the 3200 block of Point Mallard Parkway. The driver was identified as Stewart.

Following the initial traffic enforcement, police say the officer noted signs that prompted him to request the assistance of the Priceville Police Department's K-9 unit for a narcotics field
