U.S. Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Arizona, will be discussing federal issues that affect East Valley businesses.

“Federal Focus with Senator Gallego” is being hosted by the Queen Creek, Gilbert and Chandler chambers of business.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12 at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College, 2626 E. Pecos Road.

“This federal update is designed to help local employers, industry leaders and stakeholders better understand the policies shaping our economy, from workforce development and infrastructure to small business support and regulatory reform,” according to a press release.

Gallego was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2024. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014, where he became the highest-ranking Latino on the House Armed Services Commi
