JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A man was arrested and charged after detectives executing a search warrant found drugs, weapons, and a large amount of cash at a residence near Center Point.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says a long-term investigation into a suspected narcotics trafficker concluded on Wednesday, July 30,

That’s when their SWAT Team went to a residence in the 10 block of 12th Court NW.

When authorities entered the residence, a suspect - 41-year-old Marcus Allen Harper - was apprehended without incident.

They also located and seized the following:

14,916 grams of Cocaine (32.88 lbs.) with a street value of $300,000

232 grams of Methamphetamine with a street value of $1,500

2 grams of Adderall with a street value of $20

6 grams of Ecstasy with a street valu
