Review by Philip Kennicott (3.5 stars)

Victor Kossakovsky’s 2020 documentary, “Gunda,” was shot in black-and-white, with no dialogue and virtually no plot. It follows the life of a pig, two cows and a chicken, and ends with a desperate, heartbreaking scene of loss. In his newest film, “Architecton,” a majestic tree falls to the forest floor with an equal sense of tragedy. PAID PROMOTED STORIES
