Coroner's office makes impact on community

DANVILLE — Working as a county coroner can be depressing, but it’s also a chance to help survivors and to help prevent deaths.

“It gives you a warm feeling of accomplishment,” Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden said, referring to times when she can direct people to resources or compensation programs.
