West Ham have reportedly made a formal approach for Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
The Hammers are seeking a new number one and Hermansen has been on their radar for a few weeks. Now, according to talkSPORT, a formal approach has been made.
City have long been braced for Hermansen to leave this summer, with the Dane undergoing groin surgery a month before the end of last season to ensure the issue didn’t hold up an exit.
Although, while he’s been back in training, his recovery from surgery has so far prevented him from featuring in any of the club’s pre-season games.
Hermansen’s performances in the Premier League before his groin issue made him one of City’s most valuable assets, the 25-year-old clearly at home in the top flight.
