NORFOLK, Va.(WAVY)-- Police in Norfolk are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left a man hurt.

According to police, officers were called to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital at 10:20 p.m. for the report of a walk-in gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they came in contact with a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

After investigating, it was revealed the shooting occurred in the 1700 block of Vernon Drive.

There is no suspect information.
