NASA and SpaceX successfully launched another crew to the International Space Station on Friday, a mission that comes as the space agency is losing about one-fifth of its workforce as part of the White House’s plan to cut federal spending.
A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 11:43 a.m. from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. On board the Dragon spacecraft were NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, as well as Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui and Russian Oleg Platonov. The crew is expected to stay on the orbiting
