BOISE, Idaho — The Boise School District announced the creation of a Parent Advocacy Group aimed at improving communication between families and district leadership while giving parents a stronger voice in educational decisions.
The 25-member group will begin meeting in September and work directly with Superintendent Lisa Roberts and Deputy Superintendents Wendy Johnson and Nick Smith. Members represent each of the district's four high school attendance areas, Boise, Borah, Capital and Timberline, plus at-large representatives from elementary, middle and high school families.
