LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department has completed its investigation into last month’s deadly hit-and-run, issuing a citation for one man involved.
On June 14 around 12:30 a.m., LPD officers and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to the area of 27th and Theresa streets.
The preliminary investigation determined 44-year-old Jeremy Charginghawk had been hit by a car in the parking lot of a nearby business. Police said he died from his injuries at the scene.
During the investigation, investigators determined 35-year-old Ahmed Al-Musa of Lincoln, who owns the business where the victim was found in the parking lot, had run over Charginghawk.
