SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A 25-year-old woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement in a crash that killed her 6-year-old daughter and injured several others, Indiana State Police announced Friday. Dorothy J Snell of Hanover, Indiana was taken into custody on July 30, after nearly a three month investigation by the Indiana State Police Sellersburg District. Authorities say Snell was driving under the influence with two children in her car, when she ran a red light and caused a two car crash on May 13, 2025. The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 256 and U.S 31 in Scott County.
