BENNINGTON – A landmark Bennington property – the Knotty Pine Motel – has been sold.

The sale closed on Thursday at a price of $1.25 million for the 130 Northside Drive property, said Monique Geannelis of Mahar McCarthy Real Estate, who represented the sellers, Betsy Bluto Woods and Ed Woods.

Cassandra Barbeau, also of Mahar McCarthy, served as agent for the buyer, Krishna Tokola, of Connecticut, Geannelis said.

“After 53 years in my family and 20 years under my ownership, we are thrilled to introduce a new chapter at the Knotty Pine Motel,” Betsy Bluto Woods said Friday.
