WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A man is facing charges after police say he shot two family members during an argument, killing a man and critically wounding a woman in Woodbridge Thursday evening.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, 56-year-old Khampheng Toune Quanlangsy has been charged with murder, aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Officers were called to a home in the 12900 block of Kenmar Drive shortly before 5:45 p.m. upon arrival, officers found Quanlangsy outside the home and took him into custody.

Investigators say Quanlangsy was arguing with family members inside the home when he retrieved a gun and shot his relatives before calling emergency services.

Inside the home, officers found a 42-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman
