NEW YORK (PIX11) – From getting repairs for your homes to shining a light on the need for renovations of a ball field for a dynamic Bronx all-girls softball team.

Who could forget 64-year-old Eileen Cuevas, with her walker in her hallway, showing PIX11 the water coming down the walls of her bedroom.

Her bathroom sink was on the floor, and from the walls to the floors, there was water damage.

NYCHA sprang into action. Cuevas is now moving into a new temporary apartment as repairs are complete.

She’s so happy. Remember Heal Home Halos from the Bronx, one of the best all-girls softball teams in the Bronx.
