HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Thursday was the official start to the PGA Tournament at Sedgefield Country Club. The Wyndham tournament draws in people from across the country, including Tom O’Leary, the CEO and co-founder of JetZero. He was invited to speak at the champion’s breakfast, where High Point University's President Nido Qubein asked him questions, so the Triad could get to know him.

O’Leary tells FOX8 it was a long process finding the home for their factory where these cutting-edge planes will be built. Greensboro really caught their eye because the Carolina Core had already been preparing for this opportunity.

“This team here has created a vision for developing at the airport,” said O’Leary.

After years of planning, designing, and preparing, the opportunities are finally here.
