ENGLEWOOD – Malcolm Roach’s voice is going to be heard.

Talking his talk is the Broncos’ defensive tackle’s default setting, and he’s not interested in changing his ways anytime soon.

“I’m from Louisiana,” Roach explained after Friday’s practice at Broncos Park.

“That’s what we do. If you ever go to a high school game in Louisiana, you will see people talk, man. That’s just the way we compete, but I also feel like you can’t just be talking and you ain’t really doing nothing.”

Few members of the Broncos understand Roach’s disposition as well Marvin Mims Jr. It doesn’t hurt that Mims is a former Oklahoma Sooner, while Roach played his college ball for the Texas Longhorns. The two traded words at Thursday’s practice and continued to exchange barbs in their press conferences.
