VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach park was the site of hate this week as a man and his daughter, while riding their bikes, stumbled upon racist and antisemitic language spraypainted on a sidewalk.
It happened Wednesday at Kempes Landing Park in Virginia Beach. The father and daughter come to the park everyday to do a a quick lap on their bikes as a apart of their daily morning routine.
"So just coming around the lake here like we do normally, doing laps and coming down the sidewalk and I notice that there is some writing on the ground, vandalism, and the text was racist, there's no other kind way to put it," said Virginia Beach resident Aaron Edler.
