WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Yankton legion tell fell to Harrisburg 8-0 on Tuesday and has climbed out of the elimination bracket to make Saturday’s championship in Watertown.

Yankton dominated RC Post 320 Friday night as Mark Kathol twirled a complete game in the 6-1 win. Tate Beste knocked home 2 runs in the decisive 3rd inning when they plated 5 runs.

The in the final game of the night Harrisburg exploded for 7 runs in the 2nd inning and Rylan Boe made it stand up with a complete game as Gold remained unbeaten with a 7-3 win over RC Post 22, winners of 44 state titles and the #1 seed.

Harrisburg and Yankton will play at 1 o’clock Saturday with Yankton needing to win 2 games for the State A Legion championship.
