The Most Reverend David Toups, Bishop of the Diocese of Beaumont will visit Jasper today.

The Bishop is scheduled to hold Mass and also officially install Father Rejimond George at the new priest of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

George was selected by Bishop Toups earlier this year to serve as priest in the Jasper Area, replacing Father Ron Foshage who was recently transferred to a church in Sulphur, Louisiana.

Prior to his arrival here in Jasper, Father George currently served as reverend at the Little Flower of Jesus Parish in Port Arthur.

The Mass and installation will be held at the church, which is located on Highway 190, west of Jasper at 6:30 pm.
