Harold Amato of Marlborough, formerly of Natick, passed away on July 27,2025. Beloved husband for over 41 years to the late Margaret (Petro) Amato. He was the son of the late Robert and Marion (Casey) Lindquist. Devoted brother of Paul Lindquist of Dover. Denise Siaba and her husband Michael of Natick. Cherished uncle of Andrew and Ashley Siaba. Sara Giargiari and her husband Lawrence, and Chris Lindquist and wife Adrienne. Great uncle of Bella, Nicholas, Parker and Anabelle.

Harold Amato, a cherished barber from South Boston renowned for his quick humor and reliable hands, retired in March 2021 after six decades running Harold’s Barbershop at L and Emerson. At 77, Harold stepped away from the chair after serving the Southie community for generations.
