CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A NFL player who had a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers was arrested Friday and is facing felony charges, according to reports.

that linebacker Denzel Perryman, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Chargers, was arrested the night of Aug. 1 and was charged with a felony weapons offense.

Records showed Perryman was arrested in Los Angles and was taken to the L.A. County jail.
