WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating the deaths of three people who were found shot outside a home early Saturday morning .

Officers responded around 1 a.m. to the 900 block of Cameron Avenue after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police found a 17-year-old, an 18-year-old, and a 23-year-old lying outside the home with gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced all three victims dead at the scene.

Preliminary information indicates a gathering was taking place at the residence when the shooting occurred, police said. It is unclear what led to the violence, and the relationships between the individuals involved remain unknown.

The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is leading the case, which remains active and ongoing.
