WHITESTOWN, Ind. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Little League defeated Missouri 2-0 in the second round of the Midwest Region Tournament, setting up a match against North Dakota on Wednesday.

Murphy Seefeldt threw a complete-game shutout for Sioux Falls, pitching all six innings. Seefeldt tallied 10 strikeouts while only allowing two hits and two walks.

Landon Vavruska started the scoring for Sioux Falls in the bottom of the 2nd inning, as he scored on a wild pitch. Will Oakley then hit a ball to the shortstop, which was bobbled, allowing Oakley to reach first on an error. Tayson White scored from third base to give Sioux Falls their second run.

Sioux Falls will now play Fargo, North Dakota, on Wednesday in the tournament semifinals. That game is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and will b
