WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Officers are investigating a triple homicide that happened early Saturday morning in northeast Winston-Salem.

According to a press release from the Winston Salem Police Department, at 1:38 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Cameron Avenue and found three victims: a 17-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 23-year-old, with gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Information suggests a gathering was taking place at the time of the shooting. At this time, it is unclear what led to the shooting, and the relationship between the victims is unknown.
