OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Two people were sent to the hospital after crashing a stolen car near Carter Lake Sunday morning.

The incident happened near Abbott and Gallup drives, just south of Carter Lake after 3:30 a.m.

Carter Lake Police tell First Alert 6 that two people were in the stolen car when they lost control.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the other had minor injuries.

An investigation is now underway.
