DODGE COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) - The Three Rivers Health Department would like the public to know another mosquito pool has tested positive for West Nile Virus.

The pool, out of Dodge County, is the second positive pool this summer in the area the health department covers. Three Rivers shared the information in a news release Thursday.

Along with Dodge County, their jurisdiction incudes Saunders and Washington counties.

The department says the best way to protect yourself from the virus is to protect yourself from mosquitos. They recommend residents use mosquito repellant containing DEET when outside this summer.
