SARPY COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) - The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office has released the results of its speeding enforcement campaign last month.

In a release sent Thursday, SCSO says it partnered with The Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office from July 20 through July 31.

During the “Speed Prevention Enforcement” campaign, 166 citations were made for speeding and 25 citations were made for non-moving violations.

Included in the 212 traffic stops conducted by deputies were 14 written warnings and seven verbal warnings.

SCSO says enforcement operations also resulted in:

4 arrests for warrants

2 arrests for driving under suspension

2 arrests for driving under the influence

1 stolen vehi
