PITTSFORD, N.Y. — James Cook didn't suit up when the Buffalo Bills returned to practice Sunday, two days after the team's Return of the Blue & Red at Highmark Stadium.
Coach Sean McDermott didn't say anything about the starting running back during his Sunday morning news conference. The Bills also didn't reference him during an injury announcement, where they listed wide receiver Khalil Shakir and cornerback Maxwell Hairston as "week to week" with injuries.
Naturally, reporters at St. John Fisher were curious as to why he didn't practice and approached him in the field.
"Business," Cook kept telling anyone who asked.
