JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) -- A man wearing a black ski mask shot three people at the Jacksonville Mall Saturday night before fleeing the area, police said.
The incident was reported just before 8:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Jacksonville Mall at 375 Western Blvd., according to Jacksonville Public Safety.
The man shot three people as they were walking in the parking lot of the mall in the Onslow County town, police said.
The three victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Late Saturday night, police were still at the scene investigating the shooting. The mall closes each Saturday at 8 p.m.
There was no word on Sunday about the condition of the victims.
