Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested on a felony weapons charge in L.A., authorities said Saturday.

Cops said Perryman, 32, was on his way to a gun range Friday night when he was pulled over for a traffic stop, TMZ reported. Perryman had two assault-style rifles inside the vehicle, according to police.

Perryman was held without bail , and his first court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday morning, according to online jail records.

Cops said they found five weapons inside Perryman’s vehicle , ESPN reported. While three were legally registered handguns, two were illegal rifles, authorities said.
