AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County’s Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the area of Meadowbrook Drive Sunday afternoon.

Deputies are searching for the suspect on foot in the area of Meadowbrook and Deans Bridge Road near Advance Auto Parts.

This is an active situation, and the sheriff’s office is asking everyone to avoid the area.
