CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Back-to-School Bash and Tax-Free Weekend at Tanger Outlets Charleston wrapped up Sunday afternoon, drawing hundreds of shoppers from across the Lowcountry eager to score unbeatable deals.

Crowds filled the walkways, credit cards and shopping bags in hand, ready to spend big and save even bigger. Organizers say this year’s turnout was a major success.

“It’s been high energy. We have so many families coming out to shop… lots of sneakers, lots of athletic wear,” said Jamie Wilson, General Manager for Tanger Outlets Charleston. “The kids really want to be comfortable this school year, and the parents are ready to get it all done.”
