BLOOMINGTON — Bryan Severs of Potomac, a third-generation farmer, was elected Chairman of the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) during its annual public meeting on July 22 in Champaign.

Severs, whose family raises corn, soybeans and cattle on its farm in northwest Vermilion County, has served as the ISA’s District 7 Director since 2020 and previously took on additional leadership roles including Treasurer and Soybean Production Committee Chairman. Severs also currently serves as Chairman of Speciality Soya and Grains Alliance (SSGA) Director.
