After a week of stormy weather, Central Oregon is finally getting a break. Storms are clearing east and a quiet, calm pattern is taking their place. Our general air flow shifts from the south-southwest flow that brought storms to a westerly one, which usually keeps us relatively dry, quiet, and seasonable.

Look for temperatures this week to range from the upper 70s to low to mid 80s. Skies will be variably cloudy throughout the week, transitioning from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy at times.

Wednesday into Thursday there is a slight chance for rain. Right now, rain chances are slim and no storms are expected. You might notice a few sprinkles here and there but it’s not expected to be a washout.
