INDIANAPOLIS — A Kokomo woman has been sentenced to prison after she was held by the U.S. Marshals after parts of dismembered animals were found in a U-Haul she rented in Indianapolis .
Krystal Scott, 24, pleaded guilty to violating conditions of her previous supervised release and was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Scott pleaded guilty to animal crushing in November 2021. She got cats and dogs online, under an alias, and said she was going to adopt and care for them when she actually planned to torture and kill them.
