BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Boonville Mayor Charlie Wyatt has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Court records show one misdemeanor count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident was filed against Mayor Wyatt on Friday.

According to online records, the charge stems from an incident that happened in May.

We reached out to Mayor Wyatt on Monday, and he referred us to the Boonville City Attorney.
