Power drew thousands of fans over recent weekends near Keizer.

The annual Great Oregon Steam-Up again put on an exhibition of the power of steam – from small engines to megaton behemoths standing twice as tall as an adult.

Kids and adults alike climbed board miniature rail cars for a leisurely spin through Powerland Heritage Park.

Ears were plugged and eyes got wide at the blast of steam whistles and more.

Volunteers at every turn were ready to explain and to show. Exhibitors showed how to thresh grain, saw logs and mill flour and more.

The daily Parade of Power provided an earth-shaking procession.

Steam-Up officials said the event attracted sizable crowds during good weather.
