PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Two people are facing felony burglary charges after police say they broke into a southeast Portland Airbnb Thursday night.
The incident happened at a home in the Belmont neighborhood. Trevor Stout, head of operations for Simply Vacation Rental Management, operates several vacation rental properties across the Portland area. He lives in the basement of the property that was broken into.
Stout said that shortly after 11 p.m., he heard footsteps upstairs near the kitchen.
He walked up to the middle level, where he saw the blinds down and witnessed two people looking through a bathroom. After confirming that no guests were scheduled for that night, he contacted the police.
