PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A 54-year-old woman is facing charges after she allegedly attacked two people who work for TriMet’s LIFT paratransit service on Thursday night in northeast Portland, according to police.
At 11:30 p.m., a LIFT van driver reported that a passenger was making him feel unsafe, and asked for a supervisor to come help with the situation. Police were informed that a passenger was “causing a verbal disturbance” and refusing to leave the van.
Two supervisors arrived at the van near Northeast Glisan Street and Northeast 116th Place and worked to calm the passenger, later identified as Princess Harris.
A few minutes after the initial call, dispatch told police the situation was under control.
