LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Fred Hoiberg spoke to the media on Monday to recap the past 5 weeks of Summer workouts with the Nebraska Men’s Basketball Team.

Rienk Mast has been cleared for full contact and will scrimmage on Tuesday with the full team. Mast medically redshirted this past season and has been rehabbing back from a left knee injury.

Fred Hoiberg shared that Mast has been moving well since returning and his voice on the court is a huge asset.

“You could see him getting more comfortable… it’s just so good to have him out there," Fred Hoiberg said.

Hoiberg also mentioned how the point guard battle is still progressing and at the moment he doesn’t have a playing rotation decided on.
